Bonza - winners
Last week we had the pleasure of hosting 4 (+1) winners of the free Bonza tickets between Whitsundays and Toowoomba for a Bikeline guided ride and Cafe de Velo picnic in the orchard. The experience started at 1 PM at Bikeline where we loaded the bikes and headed off to Meritts Creek. After a short safety briefing the riders tested their bikes and we set off for a 13 KM ride. We cycled for about 1 hour, with plenty of stops for taking photos. Around 4 PM we finished the experience with a picnic in the orchards of “Australian Tarzan”...

The past months Bikeline has organised weekly guided gravel rides to Pechey or Gehem forestry. We’re aiming to have this as a year round weekly activity for tourist and local customers from Toowoomba. Come ride with us for 2 hours in the fresh air, surrounded by trees and wildlife. If you spend most days in an office or indoor environment, that’s a gift to your physical and mental health. But I hardly ever ride a bicycle! As long as you know how to ride a bicycle that’s enough. Most of the rides we did we were passed by maybe 2-4...

We (Sarah and Marcel) have both been raised with a mindset to be helpful and to care for others. As individuals we have always tried to contribute as much as possible to charities and good causes. For our wedding in 2016 we asked our guests to contribute to The Ocean Cleanup instead of giving us any gifts. On a visit to Australia back in 2017 Marcel was the highest fundraiser at the Buderim9 challenge, securing funds to support Queenslanders with Cerebral palsy.
