The recent tour of New Zealand was a great success with riders from Toowoomba, Brisbane and Gympie coming together for 5 days of fun in  the shaky isles!

The tour, which included 4 days of cycling on fabulous courses around the picturesque and stunning Mount Taranaki, was based in the vibrant City of New Plymouth.

Rob and Pam Coe, proprietors of the local bicycle store Cycle Inn made us feel very welcome in their home town. Rob, who is also the primary organiser of the Round the Mountain event had a very busy time on his hands but still went out of his way to ensure we were well catered for in every way.

The main event was extremely well organised and though the weather conspired to dampen the spirits of the day, in the end it was the riders who emerged triumphant, after a gruelling but very satisfing 153km circumnavigation of the beautiful Mount Taranaki.
