We can work on any brand of bicycles and on the most common e-bike motor systems (Bosch, Shimano, Brose / Specialized).

Why should you book a service with us today:
Not performing services on time can lead to excessive wear and tear of components and even to permanent damages to the bicycle if a problem is not addressed in time.

Some examples:

  • Drivetrain: Your chain and cassette are the heart of your bicycle they drive you forward and they will both wear. The chain however needs to be replaced typically 3 x more often than the cassette. If you fail to replace the chain on time and gears start to skip it may be too late and you will have to replace both the chain and the cassette as the worn out chain will wear down the cassette.
  • Bearings: In several places in your bicycle bearings are used to keep parts spinning smoothly. The wheels, the cranks, the pedals, the steerer tube and pivot links for MTB's. If the axle is slightly loose it can result in significant wear of bearings and other internals of the wheel and may result in you having to replace the hub or a whole wheel if you continued to ride with it.
  • Tyres: Tyres wear from use, they may get damaged or dry out if the bicycle is not used for a long time. Riding with tyres that have a worn sidewall or a small tear may cause an unexpected burst and could cause the rider to fall. Inspecting your tires or having it done by our mechanics is an important part of preventative maintenance.

Our experienced mechanics will assess the problems that your bicycle may have and advise which service is most suitable for your bicycle.

What maintenance should I do myself?

  • Check your tyre pressure every week or at least every second week and pump them up to the advised pressure on the sidewall. (Every bicycle tyre will lose pressure over time.)
  • Lubricate the chain every second week.
  • Wash the bicycle if it got muddy or dirty. (Don't use high pressure water!)

How often and what service should I book?

We recommend to have your bicycle serviced at least once every 6 months. If you ride it very regularly increase that to once every 3 months.

How long will it take to get my bicycle serviced?

  • We aim to have your bike back to you as soon as possible. Typically we will have your bike serviced and returned to you in 2-3 days. You will receive a text message when your bike is ready for collection. If parts are required that we do not have in stock, one of our mechanics will notify you.

I have a broken spoke, can I continue to ride?

  • A broken spoke usually happens due to a bigger impact to the wheel. It is not recommended to continue to ride with a broken spoke. If you're far away from home you can try roll home casually (at your own risk) but be very cautious not to put too much further strain on the wheel. The point where the spoke is missing will be a weak spot and the spokes next to it may break causing the wheel to collapse and cause more damage to the bicycle or to the rider.

My bike makes a creaking sound, what could it be?

  • Creaking sound are a mechanics worst nightmare as it is sometimes impossible to locate. Here is a list of possible culprits:
  • Bottom bracket
  • Pedals / cleats
  • Seatpost
  • Seat rails
  • Wheel bearings

Do you service e-scooters?

  • No, we don't service or sell e-scooters because they are very complex from a service point of view.
  • But can you at least replace a tube / tyre on my e-scooter? No, tube/tyre repairs on e-scooters have proven to be very complex with often pinched tubes as results.
  • We believe the maintenance of e-scooters should be offered by those who sold them to you.
